CMON Expo 2019 details are here!

January 17th, 2019

The Show:

CMON Expo is a grand pageant of all things CMON, focused on bringing our community together with those that create the games they love. Attendees can try never-before-seen projects, play a game with their favorite designer, compete in great events with their fellow gamers, chat with others that share their same passion for the hobby gaming lifestyle, and more.

CMON Expo will be returning to the Hyatt Regency Atlanta this year. The Hyatt is a great location, easy to find downtown, and have wonderful amenities on-site. Like previous years, they are offering a special room rate for CMON Expo attendees. Just click through to their website using the Hotel Registration link here.

  1. Hailey says:

Hahaha – you had one job, Lucas. jk jk The link for the hotel is not in the description. Could we get the link? You guys are the best. I love the note to Lucas in the body of the description. Can’t wait for May!

  2. Andrew P says:

Will there be a Dark Age immortals tournament this year. I really enjoyed last years tournament and wanted to come back for this years tournament.

  3. Alex L says:

I’ve never been to a CMON expo before. Would CMON products would be sold at the expo?

  4. James T says:

Will there be anything going on Thursday prior to the convention? Are swag bags available then? or does everything start on Friday morning?

    • Guy Himber says:

Hello James, we will have some early registration opportunities on Thursday night around 5pm and lasting for a few hours. You can get your badge and SWAG bag but the Hall won’t open to the public until 9:30 am on Friday. See you there!

  5. Jason Rasso says:

What are the daily hours for the Expo? I don’t see those posted anywhere. Also, is there a schedule of events? I see panel times but nothing else.

    • Guy Himber says:

Hello Jason. Hours for EXPO are 9:30 – MIDNIGHT on Friday and Saturday. 9:30-4pm on Sunday. Early registration will be open on Thursday night from 5pm-7pm. You can also register early on Friday at 8am ahead of the Hall opening for business. The events schedules should be posting today. See you at EXPO!

      • Jason Rasso says:

I guess a better question would be what time does registration close down each night, or at least on Friday? I’m coming from out of town and trying to see if I’ll be able to attend at all on Friday night.

  6. Chu says:

Is there a way to transfer a ticket to someone if the ticket is at Will Call?

    • Guy Himber says:

Tickets are non-transferable. They can only be used by the original purchaser. You must also present your ID to pick up your ticket!

  7. Scott Saulsbury says:

Hello, Have a few friends wanting to attend, but missed out on getting a badge.
Will there be single day passes available for purchase on Friday or Saturday for people who missed online registration?

  8. Justin S says:

We have 3 day passes and can’t come now until Sunday because of a funeral. Will our swag bags still be there on Sunday? Please help!

  9. JW says:

I bought a ticket but I am unable to use it. Can I transfer it to someone else? I have someone that would like to go.

  10. Mike says:

For single passes can I also bring kids under age 10 for free? (1 adult and 2 young kids) I thought the registration page stated this when I purchased my pass a few months ago, but the page is now down

  11. Joel Logan says:

Hey guys. My family was very disappointed to find out the miniature painting had been cut from the expo when we got there today. CMON has always been about miniatures and painting them, too. I wish you had not cut this out. It never took up more than a corner of the expo hall. :-( Besides gaming the miniature painting has always been our favorite part of coming. My whole family was very disappointed and sad for it not to be there.

    • Guy Himber says:

Hi Joel, we needed space to expand the gaming aspect of the EXPO this year. We are exploring increasing the space for 2020 so there is a chance we may be able to include some painting options in future programming. Best wishes, Guy
